To support the launch of the new Scottish Rugby website I lead an IA (Information Architecture) and content mapping exercise involved the organising and structuring information to improve the usability and effectiveness of the website.
During the workshop we used persona mapping to help the team at Scottish Rugby better understand their target audience by creating fictional representations of their ideal users. These provided valuable insights into users’ needs, goals, behaviours, and preferences, which in turn informed key design, marketing, and decision-making processes.
Each piece of content was assessed and aligned with the defined IA structure, ensuring the right fit within the appropriate category and serving its intended purpose. The result was a logical and intuitive structure for users to navigate and find information easily.
